![]() This is what the OP is trying to measure. It is also a very good level meter.Īnd its only an example, the OP could buy an AP on Ebay too but its a bit more expensive!Ĥ The Radar has ADC's and DAC's. )Ħ Fuzzmeasure is a fine piece of software capable of doing accurate and high precision measurements.1 The strange graph taken from a reputable product.Ģ No, but I have seen a lot of other socalled measurement software.ģ Because it is very cheap for a peice of high quality equipment. Also one that only gives you down to 0.1%HD which is extremely poor performance compared to what you can do with Fuzzmeasure and a modern audio interface if distortion is what you want to analyze.Ĥ Also it's a bit tricky to get the signal from a Heathkit tone generator into the computer in order to test a DAC.ĥ Even more tricky to analyse an ADC with the HP unless there's a new add on module with digital inputs. )įuzzmeasure is a fine piece of software capable of doing accurate and high precision measurements.ġ What do you base your critic of Fuzzmeasure on?Ģ Have you used it and/or are you familiar with the capabilities?ģ I'm a bit puzzled why you are recommending a dated distortion analyzer to someone wanting to do frequency response testing. If you are serious about measuring, buy some proper test gear. Second question is why use some peice of **** software you downloaded off the internet to try and do serious measurements? Their converters will do what they say they do. First question is, why? The Radar is a professional peice of gear from a reputable manufacturer.
